A room thermostat is a device designed to control the temperature in a specific room or area. It is typically mounted on a wall and allows users to set their desired temperature. The thermostat then communicates with the heating or cooling system to regulate the temperature accordingly.

Room thermostats are commonly used in residential and commercial settings to provide comfortable indoor temperature control. They often feature temperature displays, programmable settings, and may also have wireless connectivity for remote control and energy-saving features.
