Overload relay is an important power protection device used to prevent damage and fire risk caused by motor overload or failure. It can monitor the current of the motor, and once the current exceeds the rated value, it will automatically cut off the power supply to protect the motor from damage.

The function of overload relay is mainly reflected in the protection of the motor. As the load on the motor increases, its current increases accordingly. If the rated current range of the motor is exceeded, overheating will occur inside the motor, resulting in damage to the motor. If the motor is not protected by an overload relay, unnecessary maintenance downtime and additional costs will result.

In modern industry, the application scope of Overload relay is expanding day by day, and it has become one of the important devices for mechanical and electrical automation control. With the continuous advancement of technology, Overload relay has become more and more intelligent and precise, and its functions and performance have been further improved.
